Amber is what it is, a fine place to come decked out and drink a little liquid courage while you cross your fingers in hopes that the other patrons are picking up what you're putting down. If you're not into the meat-market scene, this might not be your cup of tea. But tea sucks, so go for the gusto at Amber. It can get mighty crowded on the weekend, but that's a good thing when it comes to this type of scene. Look around, there are plenty of slabs for everyone. The food is serviceable and the service is spotty, but getting the wrong drink has never been hotter.
