On the eastside lies Saburo's the most authentic sushi restaurant in Portland. So authentic that if you don't understand japanese a little, ordering will be difficult. This is where the japanese locals like to go, I think the sushi is a but more on the fishy side, but many people I've spoken to is that is the authentic taste of sushi. It's your call. Probably the most authentic sushi place in Beaverton and it's located in a stripmall, which made the thought of trying it the first time a bit sketchy because you never think a good sushi spot will be in a strip mall. The fish may not be right off the boat, but if Japanese locals eat there, it's good for me.
