Since 1944, Ringside has been serving up the most succulent cuts of beef in Portland. The beef here is legendary If you are a steak aficionado than no other steak place will suffice. The staff wear tuxedos serve steak done right, crisp on the outside tender on the inside next to some onion rings. Dinner Hours Mon-Sat 5pm to Midnight Sunday 4pm to 11:30pm

Yes they have pigeon on the menu. Le Pigeon is the best restaurant for anyone who loves meat. Tables are set up for random strangers to sit next to each other, so don't expect to sit alone with your companion, it's typical Portland. Great deserts and the beef is incredible as the chef big chances with the dishes and seems to succeed on everyone. I've never had a bad meal here as the iminagination on each plate delivers! Open Everyday 5pm-Close

Good steaks and good drinks. Try to snag a spot in the cigar room to have a smoke with your steak in front of the fireplace and watch the game.

A la carte steak dinner in a classy establishment. The booths are made of red leather and it's a comfy spot. The regular downtown crowd frequent the chophouse and they have a happy hour Monday through Saturday. Park next door at the Embassy Suites to save a little coin.

If you are up for a history lesson refer to Jake's Famous Crawfish under the best seafood category, but if not just know that the name "Jake's" is sacred in Portland. Locals protect this place like an infant child and once you experience the wide variety of grilled menu items you will know why. The steak is excellent but they also have pork chops, meatloaf, and prime rib which you will want to work in on future visits. They also have a full seafood selection so you get the best of both worlds. This place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and happens to have one of the best happy hours in town.

Bluehour is not necessarily known for it's Happy Hour selection as much as they are known for their great full meals. One of the top restaurants in Portland, you will not have a bad meal here. The wine selection is profound . If you are interested in coming here for Happy Hour, I would recommend just ordering a nice Oregon Pinot Noir and their cheese plate and you will be in heaven; you don't need much more to enjoy yourself here right after work or a casual meet and greet. If you are here on a date or just want to get some culture while you're out, just across the street is a great art gallery if you are so inclined. Be aware the Bluehour does not have a singles scene, so don't go looking to hook up.
