During the summer enjoy Piazza Italia's great outdoor seating and you may be lucky enough to get serendaded by own the owners on a violin. It's owned by an Italian family who believes that the best food is simple and to the point. Try the cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. I promise you will come back. Monday-Saturday: 12pm-10pm Sunday: 12pm-8pm

Reknown for the seafood and sushi, Bay 13's interior is made of wood paneling and other modern design astectics is what I call neo-Portland. Although they try, unsuccessfully, to be a California type place, the food and drink is pretty good. Although on the expensive side. The outdoor patio is nice and comfortable with outdoor heaters and plenty of tables. Bar Menu Daily from 4pm Dinner Daily from 5pm

I love this place. Try the fried calamari for an appetizer or the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Great stuff as you enjoy it next to the fireplace.

The New Old Lompoc has good barfood, good beer and a good outdoor patio with heaters if necessary. The crowd is a little more alternative here. Barfood is mostly typical fried stuff. Not an expensive place like most of the establishments in NW.

My wife and I picked this place to have our post-wedding reception drunk fest at the VQ. The outdoor patio is surrounded by plants and trees making you feel like your having cocktails in the middle of a garden. The VQ is one of the oldest bars in Portland and thus much history. The bartenders are some of the best in the city. Great for late night (past 2am) drinking. Lunch- Mon-Fri: 11:30am-3pm Dinner- Mon-Sun: 5pm-10pm Brunch- Sat-Sun: 9:30am-3pm

Jamaican/Caribbean food is the specialty at Salvador Molly's. The Jambalaya is perfect here but if you don't like spicy food don't come here. If you can eat 6 great balls of fire you get your picture on the wall. FYI, I couldn't get through 1 whole one. Think hush puppies fried in habanero breadcrumbs. Absoluty nuts!
