Grolla Restaurant and Wine Bar is what heaven must be like. Take your date here and ask for the chef's menu. For $75 a person, you get 5 courses chosen by the chef and it's whatever he feels keen to that night. You also get all the wine you can drink and there is a different selection for each course. My recommendation is make sure someone can drive at the end of the night because it's very easy to be too drunk by the end of the night. Dinner Tuesday-Saturday 5-10p Sunday 4:30-9:30p Late Night Small Plates begins at 9p

What a gem in Portland! Wildwood specializes in Northwest Cuisine, which is hearty and full of rich flavors. The compact menu is full of variety: halibut, salmon, ribeye and fowl. Everything on the menu is local grown so it's incredibly fresh and the chefs are experts in proper preparation of the local supply. The waitstaff are incredibly knowledgeable and excited to share their favs with you and help you to find the perfect beverage to match your meal. I had the bacon-wrapped fowl over pasta and chard and it was one of the best meals I've had out in Portland. Lunch: Mon – Sat 11:30 am-2:30 pm; Dinner: Mon – Thur 5:30-9:00 pm; Fri – Sat 5:30-10 pm; Supper: Sunday 5:00-8:30 pm.

Iorio is reknown as Portland's newest romantic dinner location. Italian cuisine and perfectly cooked dishes certainly back it up. The serve a pretty mean dirty martini and when my wife and I visited the fish they served us was perfectly cooked, not dry but nice and juicy and I thought that wasn't possible. Bluehour is incredible. You certainly get your money's worth here. They are known for their wine selection too so begin the evening with a bottle of pinot noir and the cheese plate. If you're entertaining book the chef's table at the center of the restaurant that seats 14 and end the evening with the panna cotta with cherries.
