Stumptown is a Portland favorite. Located in a warehouse/loading dock type place, the feel is very urban. They roast their own beans everyday here so you will get a great cu pof joe. Stumptown sells it's coffee to other local establishments so don't be surprised if you come across stumptown coffee at your breakfast stop. Mon-Sat: 7am-9pm Sun: 7am-8pm

If your cup of coffee is a joe and a light breakfast, you will find nothing better than Java Vivace. They serve any kind of coffee in a large mug delicately created by your non-Starbucks barista and an increadible array of crépe selection. This is a legitamate French crepe, either with fruit or meat. Built inside a NW Portland home, the seating area is all era-specific tables in several of the homes rooms. This is a good place to meet a friend for a caffeinated beverage and a small bite. World Cup roasts their coffee beans in-house and has a nice selection of teas, small sandwiches, and pastries. Locals come here for a medium plain cup of coffee and get treated to a large ceramic latte cup. Don't expect the same. Monday – Friday 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM Saturday - Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
