Best local bar

Don't expect a great dining experience at Jay's. However, if you are looking for a good local bar to neighbor with lobsterers, shell fisherman and other locals, this is the place. Smack dab in the middle of the U shaped bar is a seafood area with lots od ice and topped with fresh oysters, diver scallops (in season), and fresh lobster. Good selection of local beers on tap and Miller Lite (UGHH). Last week when I was there a guy asked for a Yuengling, what a shame with 6 locally brewed beers on tap. There are only 2 things that may disappoint one. First a major disappointment is they serve a "make believe" butter with the seafood and the men's room is a disappointment. Make no doubt about it, we go to Portland yearly and Jay's is a must stop for us.
