Definitely not known for being quick, the Brooklyn Burger Bar is a find if you have the patience. We found the burgers to be thick and tasty, but the service to be inconsistent and bordering on rude at times. Our advice- call ahead to pick up your burger and enjoy your meal in the happiness of your own home, or a nearby park bench.. Open Mon 12am-4am, 11am-4am; Tue-Sat 11am-4am; Sun 11am-12am

Call it gourmet fast food, if you will. Renown for their burgers and fries, Five Guys delivers a fresh and delicious burger make to your liking every time. Newly housed on popular Montague St, Five Guys is a nice addition to the lacking easy lunch spots for Brooklyn Heights.

Located in a former brownstone, this is one of the most quaint and funky places to eat in all of Brooklyn. There is a spacious and impressive bamboo garden out back with a separate bar outside to enjoy a warm weather cocktail. The cocktail of the day is usually worth a try, and the burgers here are hearty and delicious. A favorite of ours is the grilled vegetable sandwich with goat cheese and the mussels in a curry sauce.

Brunch is our favorite meal at Heights café. There are both solid breakfast standards on the brunch menu, as well their lunch-type offerings, which allow for everyone in your party to find something tasty to eat. The large glass front wall allows for good people watching on Montague Street and one side opens up for sidewalk-side dining in the warmer weather.
