Toni&Guy downhill fast

I saw hairgal's review on here, and I had to comment. I have been going to this salon since I came to Tech, but on my last few visits, it's been terrible. The customer service is bad, the hair cuts and color are bad, and the prices are way too high. Don't waste your money.

Worst Salon Experience of my Life

I have been going to Toni and Guy salons for about 10 years. On a recent trip to Lubbock, I decided to try the salon in the mall. I was greeted by a receptionist who was hard to understand and made it very confusing to try to set up an appointment. I decided to go with a stylist who had an opening. The salon was practically empty and after waiting 30 minutes I asked the receptionist what was taking so long. She never gave me an answer, but after several phone calls, my stylist showed up talking on her phone with several shopping bags in her hands. The stylist only spent around thirty minutes on my hair (cut and style) for a $60 dollar hair cut, and my hair looked like someone only spent 30 minutes. I have never been so disappointed in a hair cut since I have been going to Toni and Guy salons. The Lubbock Toni and Guy does not have the same trendy and modern feel as the others. No wonder no one else was in the salon, who would want to pay that much money for such a lousy experience. After the cut, the stylist tried to talk me into buying several over-priced products after I had told her several times I already had all the products I need. Maybe if my hair would have looked decent I would have wanted to buy the products to make it look that way. I was planning on complaining to the manager, but after learning my stylist was the manager, I decided to cut my losses and leave. Luckily, the Toni and Guy in the Galleria didn't even charge me to fix my hair. If you want the Toni and Guy experience, you aren't going to get it in Lubbock.
