The stadium, popularly known as “Death Valley,” is considered by opposing teams as one of the most difficult stadiums in which to play because of fan enthusiasm. According to ESPN, three SEC coaches from the 2007 football season said “Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country. "It's game time, half the place is loaded, the fans have been partying for like 20 hours straight, this is the last place you want to bring a your team."
